After being made redundant, I was lucky to be selected to join a programme being run by AGCC (Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce) called Springboard. This programme was designed to help people who have been made redundant from the Oil & Gas Industry in the north east of Scotland get back into work.

The Programme covers the following areas, Networking for Success, Social Media (LinkedIn and Twitter), Understanding the help that is available from the local and Scottish government, assistance with developing a good Resume (C.V.) and what is available to help you start your own business and how to go about it.

I am one of a group of very talented individuals from a range of disciplines across the oil industry, and hopefully we will all be successful in getting a new role in the near future.
